| Turnbull Griffin Haesloopis headed by principals Mary Griffin and Eric Haesloop from their Berkeley, California office. An association of 15 architecture and design professionals, the firm is renowned for designing houses, as well as other significant places including wineries, churches, schools, and civic complexes. Projects have been completed throughout the United States and abroad.
We believe architecture is primarily concerned with establishing a "sense of place," inspired by the uniqueness of each site and each client. Since the concept for our buildings is rooted in their environments, we are particularly attentive to topography, microclimate and vegetation. We listen carefully to the aspirations and requirements of owners and users. Through continual discussions we seek to make each project compelling and reinforce its contextual setting.
